The grade 6s tackled this tough project. At 80 years old, Monet did over 200 waterlily paintings. I think our first attempt was quite a feat. Using watercolour as our medium, we imitated the impressionist style of using short brushstrokes to explore light and colour.  Armed with a limited colour palette, the challenge was to recreate his beautiful lily garden. No easy task, but these look quite lovely.
